Affiliate Support

For anyone who doesn’t know, when you create links to products as an affiliate and someone clicks the link and purchases the item, the affiliate gets a little money from the company. How much? I’ll let you know when I get my first check!  It took me a year to earn $15, but hey, it’s something!

While I have signed up for an Amazon affiliate account, I’d much rather encourage you to get stuff locally from Craigslist, Freecycle or borrow from your local library etc. If you do shop Amazon, I think it’s best to look for used items shipping from nearby sellers.

I also signed up for an iTunes affiliate account, which may link to in the future. Again, I definitely prefer to support a local small business for renting movies, however I do love that buying your music and movies online creates less waste and you don’t have to ship anything.
